Director
Elijah Maes was born and raised in Elk Grove, CA. He began music in elementary school as a Trombonist and continued through his academic career in music and the marching arts. Mr. Maes was a member of the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps as a Baritone player from 2013-16. In 2018 Mr. Maes had the opportunity to complete his student teaching with Mr. Patrick Neff at Rosemont High School and learned a lot about music pedagogy and community. In 2019 he graduated with both his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and his Teaching Credential from the University of the Pacific, Conservatory of Music. Since then, Mr. Maes has worked as the Director of the Jefferson School Music Program in Tracy, CA and as the Band and Choir Director at South San Francisco High School, in South San Francisco, CA. Mr. Maes is excited to be back at Rosemont High School and be part of such a wonderful community. Go Wolverines!
